With all of the unique things to do, the incredible food, and culture oozing from its pores, Sao Paulo is one of the most entertaining (though often overlooked) spots to visit in South American. Home to forests, jungles, and beautiful mountains, Sao Paulo is a popular place for many outdoor adventures. Musuems will entertain and educate visitors, while places like Avenida Paulista provide delicious dining, fine hotels, and an abundance of shopping opportunities. No matter what kind of nightlife you're looking for, Sao Paulo can offer it to you. Ranging from calm and trendy to casual and relaxed to upbeat and wild, the bars, pubs and clubs in Sao Paulo cover all of the bases. Kids and adults can both enjoy parks in Sao Paulo, many of which are hosts to museums and free concerts. A rather simple subway system makes travel around this large city a breeze, even for a foreigner. The rich culture and the exquisite food alone keep visitors coming back again and again.

São Paulo

"Selva de Pedra" (Concrete Jungle) is the expression that best describes this city to me. There is concrete everywhere as well as extreme contrasts. Having said this, the city has some of the most amazing restaurants to enjoy, an interesting night life and touristic destinations such as the MASP (Art Museum of Sao Paulo), Ipiranga Museum, Ibirapuera Park and shopping centers such as Morumbi, El Dorado, Iguatemi.

While during the day, Sao Paulo is a complete chaos, during the night you will finally have the time of your life.
Great restaurants, amazing pubs and nightclubs and a public transportation system that won't stop.
Enjoy SP...

Best nights

You have to be very active at night specially for food and drinks. São Paulo is known for the best restaurants, specially for Italian food such as pasta and pizza. Best bar are all over the city but in Vila Mariana you will find many of them with live music. For clubbing, you can't miss LoveStory Club, Yatch Club, D-Edge and be up-to-date with everything going on in the city. In the morning, a walk around Ibirapuera can be fun and relaxing. In São Paulo you can find many places to buy from designer clothing to budget insanely-crowded-fair-type 25 de Março street. Don't miss the local market Mercado Municipal for a taste of truly paulista (person from São Paulo) food. For art lovers, Masp and the Pinacoteca are great places to know. Do it all, if you are not hangover.

Many Cultures

São Paulo is the biggest city in Brazil and it is not only known for the fact tat it never sleeps, but also because it has many different cultures from all over the world inside it and this is reflected in the architecture, music, and food.

The city centre is full of restaurants, bars, dance clubs and pubs, but outside this area there are neighbourhoods that represent other cultures, such as the "Liberdade", which is a Japanese neighbourhood.

For the ones who love history and arts, it is also a very good destination. It is best known for its museums and theaters and there are always exhibitions, concerts and plays from Brazilian artists and foreigner artists as well.

Last, but not least, Sao Paulo is a perfect place for shopping, since it is a very large city and you can find everything everywhere.
