Description

Twenty-five miles of white sand beaches plus thirty-five resorts plus one all inclusive vacation equals a fabulous Punta Cana, Dominican Republic fiesta. But all inclusive at Punta Cana doesn't just mean drinks and meals, it means entertainment, classes, games, sports, and beautiful hikes. No matter who you're traveling with, Punta Cana aims to keep you happy and relaxed. It's fun for the whole family, but when you need alone time, you can utilize resort daycare which is the most fun your kids will ever have being babysat. And Punta Cana is quite comfortable in its own skin. It knows that the best thing it has going for it is luxurious, unapologetic, beautiful, heavenly, beach filled relaxation.

Go local!

09/20/13
Get out of the all inclusive and enjoy like a local.

Some of the beaches you would want to see:
Playa Macao (nice surf spot)
Playa Uvero Hotel (surf spot)
Playa Juanillo (Good restaurant and chill out)
Playa Blanca (has great bar and is enjoyed by the locals)

Oro nightclub (at hard rock hotel) usually has good artist coming all year around, check them out.
Imagine Disco, its a disco in a cave, usually all the all inclusive hotels have tours going there at night.

Bavaro and Punta Cana are really near, so don't get confused, it's a 30 minutes drive, don't

In Bavaro you can find:
Bars:
Onnos
Dannys Sports bar
Photobar

Beaches:
Playa Soles (nice beach to bum out)

By the way "Playa" means beach.

For shopping: Plaza San Juan and Palma Real Shopping Center, both have good restaurants, supermarkets and nice stores.

Snorkeling

The Punta Cana Reef protects the majority of the beaches which creates calmer waters for both swimming and snorkeling. You can snorkel right off the beach and be surprised at how shallow the water is closer to shore. In addition to spotting coral you'll also see various tropical fish.
Cost: Most resorts provide equipment at no charge

Nightlife

In addition to bars, clubs, and casinos, there is often partying on the beach. Most of the resorts put on beach parties when the sun goes down, and it's not uncommon for plenty of music and dancing to be part of the scene
