Phoenix is such a relaxing place. If you like hot weather with clear skies, then this is the perfect place for you. There are many places to go and many things to see. The zoo in the winter time is the best time to go. If you go in the summer it will be dreadful, its hot and humid. In Scottsdale they have an outdoor mall. It has great shopping and fun activities their. There is not one bad resturaunt in Phoenix. I would say the best are the sports bars. They make the best hot wings. When it comes to things to do while you're there it's the sports that you have to go see. The baseball is a lot of fun,and even the softball. Their football team is in the pack 12. i would recommend you go to Phoenix.
Phoenix is a very complex city, hard to see it all, and I live there! The W hotel in Scottsdale is a wonderful place to stay. It is right near the Scottsdale mall. We have run into such people as Ice T and his wife in Scottsdale mall. The W offers free yoga classes through LuluLemon for parts of the year. The shopping in the area is fantastic. For the best steaks, AJs market has unsurpassed quality. For bargain finds, the Nordstrom Last Chance store is the only one in the country, be prepared because people begin lining up at 8am to get through the doors when they open around 10... and it isn't too far from the W. There are good comedians in the area, concerts, sporting events, so much to see and do that in a year of living there we have barely scratched the surface!
Phoenix is a great destination for restaurants, museums, hiking, Native American culture, and for fantastic springtime weather. Stay at the Biltmore - an oasis with Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, beautiful gardens, sparkling pools, and a lovely spa. Or, stay downtown with easy access to public transportation. Be sure to visit old town Scottsdale for some lovely southwest pottery and jewelry.
