World class diving (including great caves)

    09/20/13
Even that the diversity in the Marinelife is not as good as in the pacific. there clarity and underwater Typography is world class. Don't miss out on Eastend of the Island and Rumpoint can be done in a day on a roadtrip.(there aren't any busses) Seven Mile beach is a postcard bounty beach, but check out some off the remote Northside Beaches. If you only snorkel go snorkel in and around Devils Grotto just 300 meters south off cruiseterminal in Georgetown. Where you will see large Tarpon's (look into crevices in the grotto system) schools of parrotfish nipping at the rocks and corals next too schools of Blue Tang's ( surgent fish) Angel fish's butterflyfish and curious sergeant major's nesting. a few Hawksbill turtles and look closely and you will find anemones betwwen the Rocks. Want too feel like a Rockstar for a day? Go and enjoy the Beach area at Ritz Carlton, buy a cocktail and a burger and you'll get pampered for a very small amount of money.

Know why they got that nickname. Anything you want you can find, and it's discounted. Swam with the stingrays-wonderful!!!

This place is So-So...some good, some bad. If you're a scuba/snorkeler, you have to check out the Kittiwake Shipwreck. It's an Ex-US Navy Submarine Rescue Vessel sunk on 01/05/11 to create an artificial reef. You also have to check out the Stingray city if you love marine life and/or have children. They will let you feed the stingray and they do eat out of your hand. You can visit a place called Hell...which is quite small with nothing more than a few souvenir shops, post office and a lot of limestone formations. You can mail a postcard from there and it will be postmarked from hell. Yes cute but not worth the trip really.

One of the best places that I have ever snorkeled.

I only got to visit Grand Cayman for two days and three nights but I had a blast and was captivated by the beauty of the place and the energetic and upbeat vibe. I plan to go back as soon as possible!
