Description

If you haven't been to Santa Fe before, you are missing out on the top destination to visit in 2012 according to the Los Angeles Times. And if you have been to Santa Fe before, you know each and every reason to hightail it back as soon as possible. At 7000 feet elevation, it's the closest United States capital to heaven?if you consider heaven to be a chic, artistic, natural playground. It sits on a high plateau at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains making it a uniquely beautiful landscape with plenty of outdoor adventures to feed your adrenaline no matter what time of year you plan your visit. The stunning architecture is reason enough for a visit. Being the oldest city in America has made for quite the range in style. Adobe houses and missions and baroque churches make the already beautiful backdrop even more beautiful. Luxurious resorts, elegant shopping, and world-famous art galleries, in addition to fine Southwestern cuisine, come together to make Santa Fe a vacation unparalleled in class and culture.

Great for an Older Crowd

09/21/13
I'll admit Santa Fe is not something that is really up my alley. It is a small city that is heavily showcasing its art scene. Santa Fe may be lovely for those who a little bit older and looking for a quiet get away with antiques, and sculptures, and jewelry. If you are a bit younger like me, however I would have to say Santa Fe is a pass although the adobe buildings, and art scene is great to look at. One thing I wish I visited however during my time in New Mexico was Native American attractions, and I believe that might be the best part of visiting New Mexico.
